Tigers
Travis and I are not basketball fans at all. Neither one of us played and it's just not a sport that we follow. Living in Memphis, however, it's hard not to admire the University of Memphis men's team. Last year was so exciting when they went to the championship game and they are well on their way again this year. It truly gives Memphis something to be proud of and puts a positive spotlight on the city when otherwise we're only getting recognition for being the 2nd Most Miserable Place to Live and something like the 3rd Most Dangerous City. Anyways, it was next to impossible to go to a game last season with Jack being so young, but we decided to give it a shot this year. Today's game against Southern Miss was at noon, so aside from Jack missing his nap, it was the perfect time. Here he is before leaving for the game. He looks a little dazed because he literally just dove head first into the wall and he's holding his hands up showing his stickers. He's big on stickers now and on one hand he had a basketball and the word "Win!" on the other.
Jack was amazed by the game. He especially loved watching the Tiger mascot and by the end he was dancing to the band. Now we can't wait for this fall when we can take him to his first football game.

Tractors
Jack is obsessed with tractors. He used to be really good at saying "tractor", but now he just lumps tractors and trucks together and calls them all "trucks". One of his favorite things to do with his daddy is get on the computer and look at tractors. You would be amazed at how many videos of tractors there are on YouTube. Tonight Jack took control.
Snow
We laughed yesterday when it was 60 degrees and they were predicting up to 1 inch of snow for today. By the time we went to bed, it was up to 1-3 inches predicted and then this morning they said 3-5 inches overnight tonight. When we got out of the ballgame at 2, it was sleeting and before we could get out of downtown it was snowing. Here's what it looked like when we got home around 4.
