Happy Birthday, MiMi!

Jack and I were getting shaggy, so we headed to Paris for the weekend for haircuts and to celebrate Emily's birthday. Her birthday isn't until next weekend, but she'll be out of town then, so we celebrated with the family early. The weather was beautiful and all it took was one comment about what a great day it would be to fly a kite and off Big Big went to Wal Mart to buy Jack a couple of kites.
Here is Luke helping Jack fly Elmo.
Jack and Big Big came up with a game of throwing the ball onto the roof and trying to catch it when it came back down. Jack thought it was hilarious and covered his face with his hands laughing every single time!
Saturday night we drove to Murray for dinner and got some great pictures. Here is Jack and his MiMi.

Here's Jack and "Miss Sissy". Jack has started staying with one of his teachers from school so I can work more. Her name is Alesia, but Jack calls her "Sashi" for whatever reason. We call her "Miss Alesia", hoping he'll catch on. Well, on Friday Jack looked at Mom and said "Miss Sissy". What can I say? We teach the boy manners.

By the time we got around to taking a picture of Jack and me, he was tired of all the nonsense. This was as good as it got.

This is my favorite picture of all. Well, my favorite picture without Jack in it. It is very rare that we ever get Mom in a picture, much less a picture of all three of us together. You can't really tell just how hard we were laughing during this picture and I'm sure we looked ridiculous to everyone around us, but we had the best time. These are truly my two best friends in the world!
