Jack is really starting to interact with the dogs. One minute he's petting them and loving on them and the next he's trying to hit them, so we have some work to do. Max has decided he especially likes Jack during meals because they have a system. Max paws on the side of his highchair and Jack either drops some goods or just lets him lick his hands. Either way, Max is happy and Jack thinks it's hilarious! The other night when we got Jack out of his highchair he was fishing around for a piece of macoroni he saw still in the seat. Once he got his hands on it, he turned to Max, handed it over and said "Here you go." plain as day! Travis and I couldn't believe what we had just heard!
The pictures above are of Jack and the dogs outside. Max and Marley love to chew on sticks and Jack has figured this out, so he often goes on a mission to find and hand them sticks. Now he thinks it's funny to also play tug-of-war with them, but his intentions are mostly good. One day he led Travis to his pool noodle and wanted to give it to "Maa" (he pretty much calls both dogs Maa, which is pretty good for Max and Marley).
