Marshall at 6 Months

What a sweet, happy baby Marshall has become!  Everywhere we go people ask if he's always smiling.  It's hard to believe it's been 6 months.  His current stats are:

Weight - 17 lbs 2 1/2 oz (50th-75th percentile)
Length - 26.75 in (50th-75th percentile)
Head - 17 in (75th percentile)

This is very close to Jack at that same age who was:

Weight - 17 lbs 9 oz.
Length - 17 in

He has now graduated to the 2nd stage of baby foods and we've started the meats.  I honestly haven't found a food he won't eat, but the 1st stage peaches really irritate his reflux.  The doctor is hoping the thicker peaches will settle in his stomach easier.  He's eating 3 meals/day and nursing or taking a bottle 4 times/day.  We've started offering him a sippy cup, but he hasn't quite got the hang of it.  His naps continue to be short little catnaps and we celebrate if he sleeps longer than 1/2 hour.  It's hard to complain though when he goes to bed every night at 7:30 and sleeps almost until 7 the next morning.  He takes a paci only when sleeping and has already grown attached to a binky (as Jack calls it).  In fact, it's the very binky that Jack gave him in the hospital.  He's starting to sit up pretty well, but still rolls to get to his destination.  Here's a few fun little pictures of Marshall here lately.

Marshall wasn't as thrilled as Jack with the balloon hats Daddy made.

He LOVES bathtime!
And has just graduated to a bath seat, which he loves because he gets to play with big brother in the tub!
This is proof that lazy bones can hold his own bottle.
He and Max are already big buds.
But his best buddy of all is Jack.  "Take a picture of me and Marshall." are now my favorite words to hear because it means they are snuggling.  My most dreaded words are now "I'll get him!" followed by Marshall crying, which happened a few weeks ago when Marshall rolled off of his blanket onto the hardwood.  Jack quickly placed him back onto the blanket.  Notice I said quickly, not gently.
It's already hard to remember life before this sweet, smiley baby came into our lives.
