"No, no, no, no" and "Mine"
No new pictures, but a couple new stories for you. Jack's vocabulary is amazing me more and more each day. He can repeat almost anything you say to him and his little personality is definitely shining through. In some ways, he's just like Travis - laid back and go-with-the-flow - but in others he's so obsessive compulsive like me - if a door is open, he has to close it regardless if it needs to be closed or not (often right in the middle of me loading or unloading dishes and clothes). "No, no" has become a big phrase of his often accompanied by him shaking his finger. Last night he was really into this Cars chair that turns into a car. The dogs were also into it because it talks. Anytime the dogs got near it, he would run towards it flailing his arms yelling and saying "No, no, no, no!". One time he actually pointed his finger at Max and said sternly "No, Ma!" (leaving out the 'x' in Max) and another time he said to them "Tha mine!" (leaving out the 't' in that). In the middle of all this, I was sitting on the floor holding one of his toy balls in my hand and he turns to me, walks over saying "Ball, ball, ball, ball", takes it out of my hand and says to me "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmine!". Isn't 15 months a little early for the "mine" phase?

I feel pretty confident that if you want to "break" him of this new stage, that Kate could take care of that for you! Ha!
