More Birthday Fun

Like I said, we're celebrating all month long...on Thursday, Jack's swingset from Travis's parents was delivered in the box. We currently have the slide jacked up on a step stool for him to slide down. It was too cute not to take pictures and he got so used to the publicity that when I did put the camera down he said "Mommy, more pictures of me!". He would look up and say "Cheese!" then as soon as I took the shot run over to me and say "I wanna see pictures of me!". It was hilarious!

On Friday, his mattresses from my parents were delivered. He absolutely loved seeing the big truck pull into our driveway and was giving me the "more" sign saying "More big trucks!" as it drove away. Like I said, everything is Jack's these days, so he immediately wanted to see "My bed!" and even wanted to take a "map" (nap) in it, but I don't have the rails yet, so we'll have to put that off for a little bit longer.

On Saturday, he went to see Bob the Builder, his birthday gift from us. This is him with a little toy all the kids had. He went through two while he was there.

Saturday afternoon, we got out the Elmo sprinkler. Last year, he was terrified of it, but as soon as the water started shooting out he yelled "Run! Run! Run! Run!" and ran all the way accross the yard through it.

At one point, he thought he might need to potty, so we brought it to him in the back yard, but no such luck.

This weekend's project is building the swingset, so Travis is working on leveling the area this week and Jack is helping with his new shovel and rake.

One of the cutest things he's doing now is as soon as we pull into the neighborhood he'll say "I home!". His babysitter says when she pulls into her driveway with him he'll annouce "Sesia home!". The other day he walked into the house with my parents and said "Mommy, I home!".
