The After Party

Afterwards, our family and out of town friends joined us at home for lunch and some fun in the sun.  Marshall was the only child that really napped.  Harrison stole a cat nap in the car on the way over and Jack was too excited to fall asleep.  Travis grilled, Mom put out some snacks, we blew up the water slide and headed outdoors for the afternoon.  Needless to say, everyone will sleep good tonight!

Nick, Lindsey and Taylor, you'll be happy to see that Jack quickly found a use for his Cars body board.

Up until now, Marshall mostly played in the pool at the bottom of the slide and we would put him halfway up for a short ride down every once in awhile.  He was content to sit on the sidelines cheering for Jack.  Until now.  One grandfather or the other put him up at the top and I couldn't cut a single picture out of this next series.  Mom and Judy took turns catching him at the bottom.

The men took turns tossing him up top.

He was barely out of the water before his arms were up in the air waiting to be hoisted back up.

Jack decided he wanted them to slide together, so here he is trying to get them into position.

That is the top half of Jack's body, but look close.  Those are Marshall's legs in back.  Jack took him down head first.

He finally had enough and lounged with Daddy and some Gogurt.

Ended the day in the sand.

These boys are really starting to play well together and it is a dream come true to Mommy.
