My family came down to keep Marshall, so we could take Jack to see some fireworks the night before the 4th. We decided to go to the Millington show because they had fun and games for the kids. After going down a blow up slide only once, we settled down on a blanket and waited for the show to begin.
This was Jack's 3rd year to watch the fireworks and I really thought he at least would have remembered watching them on the beach last year, but he didn't. After only a few booms, he announced he wanted to go to his home. When that request didn't work the first few times, he said he wanted to go to his home and take a nap. I'm sure he thought the promise of going to sleep would get us, but it didn't. We stuck it out and I think he somewhat enjoyed the show, but said he doesn't like the fireworks that scream.
On Sunday morning, we blew up the water slide for a little family fun before everyone went back to Paris.
Daddy was down on his back for a week after this.
After naps, we headed to the Jostes' for some pool time. Isn't this the sweetest picture of Jack and Kate?
And then Maddie joined in...
And FINALLY a Jostes/Todd kid picture complete with Marshall.
It was a busy day, but full of fun!
