Jack's 3rd Birthday

It was nice having Jack's party on a day other than his birthday, so we could actually enjoy him on this special day.  Mom, Dad and Emily stayed and the Jostes' came over to play on Jack's new blow-up water slide. 

We didn't have to cut the fire hydrant cake at the party, so he got to blow out the candles again.  For some reason, he was a little bashful when we sang to him this time.

What an exhausting weekend!  This is the position he fell asleep in watching "Where the Wild Things Are", a gift from his brother because they are definitely our little wild things!  That line down the middle is the string from his balloon that he would not let go of.

His 3 year appointment is still a couple of weeks away, so I don't have any stats, but I can tell you that this kid continues to grow with leaps and bounds.  He really is such a good boy and a joy to be around.
