Jack was chosen to be in the Arlington Christmas Parade for his school this year. We had never even been to the parade before, so we really didn't know what we were in for. Donelson's float's theme was "Arlington's Future is in the Dog's Paw". Each child held up a dog paw with their career choice written on it. Jack wants to be a Light Manager or the person that does all the lights at concerts and such.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten kids rode on the trailer with the principle and assistant principle while the parents and older kids walked.
Jack's buddy, Nick rode right beside him.Along with his friend, Jacob.
Travis and Marshall dropped us off at the beginning of the parade and then set up chairs to watch.
Marshall quickly made friends and held his own with the big kids fighting for candy.
Even Buddy the Bulldog, the school mascot came along.
This is definitely an event we won't miss again in the future.
