Depending on how the holiday falls, we tend to change our travel plans each year. This year with Christmas Eve being on a Monday and Christmas Day on a Tuesday and with us already traveling to Martin the weekend before, we decided to combine the two visits rather than making two trips. This year we were at my parents' house on December 23rd and we left Christmas Eve night. Because of this arrangement, we missed the Vz family celebration, which took place Christmas night. Thankfully, Amy and Stan and my grandparents were able to come by and spend some time with us. Here is Marshall with Stan and the present he and Amy gave him.
It wouldn't be Christmas in Paris without my grandparents. Here is GG with baby Boyd.
And here is Marshall with Sissy, Carl Ross and GG.
The boys' big gift in Paris was iPad minis. They have saved my sanity over the holidays. Another favorite were Dream Lites. Marshall got an Alabama one and Jack got a Tennessee one and they are a new addition to our bedtime requirements.
We had to give baby Boyd a squeeze before he left us on Christmas Eve.
The boys also loved these hooded blankets from Maw Maw.
This picture wasn't actually taken in Paris, but it's another favorite of mine. It is all I can do to keep my kids in clothes when they are home. If they are in clothes, it's usually nothing more than underwear. Mom gave them robes and it's a little easier to get them to wear the robes v/s running around naked.
Our time at "home" (even after all these years, Paris and Martin still seem like home to us) ended too soon and I think Travis and I were both a little sad to head back to Lakeland. However, the kids were filled with excitement for Santa's upcoming visit and that excited us as well.
