Happy Birthday, Mommy!

What's yours is mine has taken on new meaning now that we have a child. My birthday was last Sunday, the 4th. Since Travis left early that morning, he gave me my gift the night before. I have to explain the gift first. Over Christmas while Mom and I were shopping, we stopped to sit in one of those massage chairs at Bed Bath & Beyond. It was Heaven! We stayed there for at least 1/2 hour taking turns and luckily, there was a toy section in front of the chairs, so Jack was completely amused. Well, I got one of those massage things (not sure what they're called exactly since they aren't a full chair) from Travis and Jack for my birthday. You can imagine my excitement, but apparantly, Jack thinks it's his because if anyone sits in it, he grabs their hand saying "Bush! Bush!" ("Push! Push!", which really means he's pulling you to him), pulls you off of it and takes a seat. Here he is getting fully relaxed this morning.

My grandparents gave me a bird feeder for my birthday, but as I was opening the feeder, she explained that it's really for Jack. His birthday is in June, so I'm hoping he'll be opening some gifts for me then too :). It amazed me that Jack understood what it was and carried it around all week saying "bird". Today when we went to the grocery we bought some seed and Jack carried it all the way through the store. We hung it right before his nap and he was delighted to see the birds eating when he woke up! He called my grandparents and said "Bird! Eat! Eat!". Here he is looking out the window at the bird feeder in the distance. He caught me with the camera and cheesed and you can barely see a dog in the picture. Max and Marley were completely confused at what he was looking at out the window that was exciting him so much, so they kept jumping up and looking out too.
