Jack, GG, and Papa (a.k.a. Daddy Carl)

Travis left town on Sunday for his company's annual conference in Vegas and he didn't get back until Thursday, so my grandmother ("GG", as Jack calls her) came to stay with us. Boy did Jack keep her laughing and on her toes! One night we went to the mall and let Jack play in the play area and he wanted GG right there beside him. If she would sit down, he would yell "GG!" and take off running towards her, grab her hand and pull her along with him. I'm so blessed to have wonderful grandparents and I'm even more blessed that Jack is getting to know them. I wanted to kick myself for not having a camera with me at the mall, but I did take some pictures of the two of them before she went home.
On Wednesday, my granddaddy drove up and they kept Jack while I worked. Granddaddy wants to be called "Daddy Carl" because that's what he called his granddaddy. Jack has other ideas. He keeps calling Granddaddy, Papa, which is also what he calls Travis's dad. I don't know if he's confused between the two or just stubborn because my granddaddy DOES NOT want to be called Papa, so every time Jack refers to him as Papa, Granddaddy corrects him. I can only imagine the battle that took place on Wednesday. Here's Jack with his Papa/Daddy Carl.

Grandmother was sweeping and apparantly, Jack took the broom from her. Granddaddy then took that opportunity to teach Jack to ride the broom like a horse.
