After 2 weeks of swimming lessons and a lot of rain throughout, we had a couple of make-up classes this week. Jack isn't swimming on his own, but he's had a great time and improved a lot since he started. We'll definitely do lessons again next year and I just know he'll be swimming like a fish. Here are some pictures of his last class and a few of his favorite things to do in class. First and foremost, blowing bubbles through a straw. We now take straws to the bathtub with us. That's Keegan you see to the side. He wasn't in Jack's regular class, but he was there for both makeup lessons this week.
Jumping off the side. He won't do it without holding the teacher's hands. She did manage to trick him a few times into going before grabbing her, but I don't mind a little apprehension around the water since he can't swim on his own just yet.
Kickboard
Coming up from going underwater. Jack doesn't take big breaths, but he can hold his breath forever and luckily, he doesn't suck in either. I caught myself holding my own breath every time he went under.
