St. Paul United Methodist Easter Egg Hunt

Last year's egg hunt at St. Paul was so much fun that we decided to go again and this year we knew it would be even better since Jack was a year older.  The first thing on his agenda was the bounce.

Every good day with Marshall I know will be soon followed by a bad today.  Friday was a good day, so guess what...Saturday, not so good.

Nothing like big brother to put smiles on very fussy Marshall's sweet face.
Next in line was the petting zoo area.  Probably not the most sanitary thing to do, but Jack kissed just about every animal.  That's what you learn when living with dogs you consider your brothers.
Travis was there, but he took Marshall duty and let me enjoy my big boy for awhile.
While waiting for the egg hung, Craig bribed Kate to hug Jack.  This was the before picture.
Then the bribe sunk in.  Remember that Kate is 1 1/2 years older than Jack, but poor girl doesn't have height to her advantage.  However, she's just as adorable as her size shows.

Jack was a pro at hunting eggs and had his basket full right off the bat.  Would you believe there was a kid probably half his age and definitely have his size grabbing eggs from the same area as Jack.  They both went for the same egg and Jack got there first, so he got the egg.  The mama said and I quote "Get agressive (insert name here)!  How are you ever going to play sports if you're not aggressive?  Block him out!" and then she kind of laughed.  If that red neck had only known what a pushover my Jack is then she would have been ashamed of herself.  All that tiny child had to do was tell Jack to give him the egg and he would have gladly handed it over.  Some people!

FINALLY!
