The Easter Bunny Came!

Marshall's goods included a Buzz Lightyear glider, My First Bible story book, Bambi the movie, crayons, Easter cars, a coloring book, sunglasses, a Toy Story bike horn, Peeps, a chocolate bunny, M&M's, Reeces Pieces, "Fish" kabob and endless suckers.  Jack loaded up on a Sponge Bob kite, Word World coloring and activity book, a DS game, boxer underwear, sunglasses, a mini Toy Story bike helmet (see notes at the end), Toy Story bike bell, a chocolate bunny with a soccer uniform that matches his, Skittles, jelly beans, Peeps, Play Doh (but not enough), a "Fish" kabob and more suckers.  All Jack really asked for was caterpillars.  Yes, caterpillars.  We found some outside this week and from that point on, that's all he wanted.  Have I mentioned he talks to Santa and the Easter Bunny like they're God?  Yep, anytime he decides to ask them for something he looks up to the sky and yells "Easter Bunny, will you bring me some caterpillars?"  Yes, the thought did occur to me to go outside, catch a few, and throw them in a jar in his basket.  Instead, I bought the boys a butterfly garden.  Had he made this request a bit sooner, the butterfly garden could have been filled with his caterpillars, but he didn't, so they'll come in the mail in a few days.  It's a really cool thing.  We'll get the watch them make their transformation into butterflies and then release them.  They also got a roll of Color Wonder paper that sticks to the wall along with the Color Wonder markers.  I'll have to post a picture of my walls - both the one where Jack went wild with dry erase markers and the one covered with the Color Wonder paper.  Here's a few pictures of our morning before church.  Church pictures to come.  

Notes to the bunny for Easter 2012:
1.  Jack only really wants Play Doh.
2.  Marshall only really wants suckers.
3.  The boys in our family are big, so when buying contraptions for their heads such as bike helmets, the labeled ages don't apply.  For example, Ages 3+ barely fits the 1 year old and looks like a top hat on the 3 year old.  Mommy and Daddy will correct this mistake with a trip to the store to purchase the correct size this year, but you have been warned for the future!
4.  If you follow suggestions 1-3, you will save a boat load of money.
