Jack's First Soccer Game

Yesterday was the start of Jack's soccer season and what a beautiful day to be outside.  He received his uniform as soon as we arrived and was so excited after the game when he realized he gets to keep it.  A big cheering section showed up for Jack's soccer debut - Sissy, MiMi, Luke, Papa D, Judy and of course Mommy, Daddy and Marshall.  We were able to talk him into posing for a few pictures before the game and lucky for Sissy, he kept wanting to pose with her.  She hates to have her picture taken and will kill me for posting these.

So serious about warm ups.
Note to self:  bring Marshall toys to the next game, so he won't empty my diaper bag.
The Youth XS swallowed him, so he spent most of the time with his hands down his pants tucking his shirt in.

Lucky #17!
Getting a few pointers from Coach Dad.
Throwing in the ball.
We were very proud of Jack after his first game.  My biggest fear was that he would be intimidated by all the kids crowding around the ball and he would just stay away, but that wasn't the case at all.  He hung in there with the other kids and actually kicked the ball twice.  You can really tell the kids that have played before and his team has a few really good players on it.  We can't wait for the rest of the season with Team Minton!
