Summer Vacation 2012 Day 1

On June 29th, we left for a week long vacation in Gulf Breeze with Travis's parents.  Since we knew we would have help, we left early evening again and drove into the wee hours of the morning.  Travis was once again worn out on our first day there, but we hung around the condo and just let the boys swim in the pool, so it was an easy day.  That night we headed to Pensacola Beach for dinner at Jack's favorite restaurant "Crabs We Got 'Em".  There are no words appropriate for the blog to describe the shirt Travis picked out from his dad's closet to wear, so I'll let you narrate for yourself.
Marshall sucking on a lemon.
Judy will kill me, but she was there, so we need pictures of her as well.
Instead of mints, they give Tootsie Roll Pops at the end of the meal, which are always a hit with the boys.
I didn't match the boys to their daddy's hideous flavorful shirt on purpose.  It just happened.
On our way back, we decided to head to the boat dock to hunt for crabs.
Travis was in a annoying playful mood tossing or acting like he was tossing everything he found on us.  The look on Jack's face says it all.

Travis actually caught a shrimp and after seeing it alive, it was hard for me to eat the dead ones.  Not because of sympathy for them, but because they're so stinking ugly.

It was a late night, but a fun and memorable one.
