Summer Vacation 2012 Day 5

With the kids, the 4th of July has become one of my favorite holidays.  Dani and Nelson invited us over to their house for a day of eating, boating and just hanging out and Travis and I couldn't have been more thrilled.  None of us wanted to fight the traffic or the crowds, so this was the perfect way to spend the 4th.  Here is Travis with Elvis, Carter and April's dog.  Poor Elvis didn't have that great of a 4th.  Carter was fishing and Elvis decided to nibble on the hook.  He ended up at the vet being sedated, but rejoined the party afterwards in a much more laid back mood.
Carter showing Jack the fish.
Jack and Marshall pretending to relax.  I'm not sure that word is in either of their vocabularies.
Now Travis and I were totally relaxed.
Hanging out at the bar.
Eating Rice Krispy Treats with Dani.
Happy Birthday, America!
The kids and "Aunt Dani".
Lucky for us, Dani and Nelson invited us to go out on the boat to watch the fireworks.  We could see both Pensacola Beach's and Pensacola's shows.  It was probably my favorite 4th of July yet.
Jack says every year when the fireworks come, he wants to be at the beach.  We will do our best to fulfill that wish, buddy!
