Maybe a New Tradition

These pictures are terrible, but I had to document a priceless moment.  My grandmother came down with my mom to Christmas shop.  The night before they arrived, Jack saw a commercial for Rice Krispy treats and said "Mommy, I know!  Some day we need to make Rice Krispy treats!"  My grandmother makes THE BEST Rice Krispy treats.  It's true.  It is a childhood favorite of mine and my sister's.  I immediately got on the phone, called my grandmother and instructed her to bring the supplies.  As luck would have it, she was already planning on making them for the trip, so she just brought the ingredients rather than the finished product.  Jack enjoyed himself, but I think he stressed GG out and Jack just might be able to carry on THE BEST Rice Krispy treat tradition.
