On Tuesday, my grandparents came to celebrate with the boys. It had been exactly one month since they had seen Marshall and Jack was so excited for his
GG and Carl Ross to arrive. They have the neatest bond with him and I couldn't be more pleased as they are two of the most important people in my life. I made a point to take pictures of both boys with both great-grandparents. Jack greeted them in the driveway by running out to their car, jumping up and down, and hugging them both. His enthusiasm with Carl Ross soon ended as Granddaddy held Marshall first. Jack would not even acknowledge Granddaddy while he held him.
Apparently, this made an impression on Grandmother because once she saw Jack's reaction, she wouldn't even acknowledge Marshall! She doesn't want to get on Jack's bad side. Here they are putting the Big Al puzzle together that they got him.
When Carl Ross agreed to play Play
Doh with Jack, he warmed up to him again and let
GG hold Marshall. This kid has everyone just where he wants them!
