I can't believe in just one short month my baby boy will be 1. Where has the time gone? His little personality is developing more and more each day and it doesn't take much to make him break out into the sweetest laugh you've ever heard! Jack is his number one comedian, but he thinks Mommy and Daddy are pretty funny too. He doesn't appear to be anywhere close to walking and quite honestly, I wish he would hurry up! This is such a hard stage because he doesn't want to be held, but not all settings are appropriate for floor play. He cruises like a pro, but will drop down to crawl if it involves letting go at all. With 5 teeth, 2 on top and 3 on the bottom, he's on table food unless a meal runs late and we have to resort to baby food to avoid meltdown mode. He's dropped the bottle and now nurses or takes milk from a sippy cup. I believe he's around 21 pounds. We've been to the doctor so much in the past month they've stopped weighing him! He's kept a runny nose that has often developed into an ear infection in one or both ears. No talk of tubes just yet.
Ironically, his birthday party invitations arrived today. Plans are underway for an Elmo party. Sesame Street Live is coming to Murray, KY Thanksgiving weekend, which is when I was planning on celebrating his birthday anyways in my hometown of Paris, TN. We moved the party to Murray immediately following the show that we are taking all the kids to see. Hopefully, it will be a great time and of course, pictures will be posted!
