Saturday Beach Fun

Saturday was packed with plans.  We started off at Dani and Nelson's for brunch.  Dani's son, Carter, and his wife, April, joined us.  Here's a picture of everyone except Nelson.
Next we drove to Destin for some outlet shopping before the wedding.  This was probably my first real beach wedding.  Last May we traveled to Gulf Breeze to see Carter and April get married, but it was at Dani and Nelson's house.  This was gulf front and I have to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed beach atmosphere.  I considered not taking the boys because they didn't sleep well during the trip and I was afraid it was an interuption waiting to happen, but they were perfectly content sitting to the side and playing in the sand and the only thing that stirred them up was the military helicopters that kept flying over.
This kid had sand EVERYWHERE!
The water was chilly our first day there, but quite a bit warmer on Saturday.  It was hard to keep Jack out of it.
Marshall's sweet footprints in the sand.
This is a jelly fish some of our Paris friends found earlier that day.  Look close.  It's as big as the boogie board next to it.
