Jack decided he didn't feel like getting dirty on Friday, so instead we headed to the Naval Air Museum. One of the main reasons we decided to drive down to Pensacola for Spring Break was because Travis's childhood best friend, Blake, was recently transferred there with his family. Blake had some free time on Friday, so we started our day there with a tour from him. I don't know who thought it was cooler to have a personal tour Travis or Jack, but all three boys thoroughly enjoyed it. In Travis's words, the kids put their hands on absolutely everything in there. I don't think the place will ever get old to them and we all look forward to watching the Blues practice again this summer.
So much to do and so little time. Every beach trip Jack has asked to play minature golf. There has just never been enough time, so we decided to make the time this trip and headed straight there from the museum. Marshall, as usual, was a hoot. At first, he tried to play by the rules and let Travis show him how to use the club. Once he figured out the true object of the game was to put the ball in the hole, he just took the ball and placed it right by the hole and tapped it in. Whatever kept him entertained was fine by us!
Travis and Blake decided to have a boys' night, so we grabbed a pizza and the little boys and I had a movie night with Happy Feet 2. I can hardly think of a more perfect Friday night!
