After Jack went to the Crossfire Commando birthday party at Dulin's Sports Complex, I did a little research on the place and learned that in the spring they have a Start Right Program for baseball for 3-6 year olds. It's 1 hour per week for 4 weeks on Friday nights. We immediately signed Jack up and he proudly told everyone about the baseball program he was about to start. Here he is in his new baseball attire on his first night.
In action on 3rd base on another night.
We can't let big brother have all the fun! Marshall will definitely be signed up next spring with Jack.
Here are a couple of videos Travis took. The first one is actually the first time the coaches brought out the mat for the kids to slide. They gave no instructions what-so-ever and just sent the kids around the bases. Get ready for a good laugh.
Here Jack is batting off the tee. By the last class, they were actually pitching to them, but we haven't loaded any of those videos yet.
It was a fun class for Jack, so we're glad we signed up for it. We got some good tips on how to work with him on several skills and Travis got an eye-opener as to the skill level he's looking to work with on his tee ball team this summer. This should be fun!
