We thought we planned yesterday perfectly. Jack went to bed late Friday night and woke up early Saturday morning (neither of which were in the plan) and then we really wore him out good at the zoo yesterday morning. He cat-napped on the way home, but we picked up a pizza and woke him up to eat before strategically putting him down for his nap right before kick-off of the Bama/UT game. 1/2 hour later, he came trotting into the den. The cat nap was all we were going to get during the biggest game of the season for Travis and me. So Jack made a mess of our house while we watched the game and somewhat neglected him. After it was over, Travis decided to reward him with carving one of his pumpkins. Jack is definitely all boy, but some things take some work. For instance, we had to talk him into sticking his hands in the pumpkin to get the seeds and other junk out. Once he started though, it was on!
